These terms apply to the Hidegrid app and the hidegrid.com website, provided by Synfiniq Systems Private Limited. By using them you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Hidegrid on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

2. Your pattern and recovery phrase

You are responsible for keeping your pattern and recovery phrase safe. We do not have them and cannot recover a vault if both are lost.

3. Duress pattern

The duress pattern permanently erases data on your device. Use it at your own risk and only where lawful. Do not use Hidegrid to destroy evidence or break the law.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Pro is sold through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Hidegrid to store or share content that is illegal where you live, or to harm others.

6. No warranty

Hidegrid is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable and secure, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors. Keep a backup of anything important.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by a lost pattern and recovery phrase, a duress wipe, or a device failure.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, unless the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
